#gonnagethurt Collaboration

Got Hurt

An informal collaboration with @gonnagethurtsg, a group of passionate aggressive inline skaters in Singapore. The gallery above shows the UFS to 165 adapters that were designed for the skates that have received more than $100 in sales, going at $20 a piece in Singapore. As can be seen, the piece acts to level the base of the frames to match that of the aggressive skating sole plates giving it maximum grip. Anti-rockers (presented in the later images) are also up for sale, customized to the skater’s needs and printed to order and have been sold in Singapore and Malaysia.

Although there are aluminum adapters and plastic antirockers are already available in the market, many of the aggressive inline rollerbladers rolling with @gonnagethurtsg are students and do not have the capital to purchase expensive accessories. This project makes such adapters accessible to them locally at a reasonable price while also supporting local entrepreneurship and creatives.

In addition, the bottom two images display the anti-rockers of my personal design and a lace lock with my logo for anyone who desires to take their style up a notch.
